Intended for an educated lay audience of a popular science magazine, this double page spread describes the cyclical process of bone remodeling. In osteoporosis, there is a net loss of bone with each iteration. The disease is depicted at three levels: the micro scale, the macro scale, and finally, at the human scale. Awarded the Orville Parkes Award: Student Best in Show for Still Media, and the Award of Excellence, student didactic / instructional category, at the 2013 AMI Salon.
